Overview

Real physiotherapy. Not a treadmill and a hot pack.

At Omega, physiotherapy is a thinking person's profession. Your first visit is a full clinical assessment: we listen to your history, examine the way you move, and identify the actual driver of your symptoms — not just the place that hurts.

From there, every session blends manual therapy (soft-tissue work, joint mobilization, dry needling) with the active rehab you need to make changes stick. You'll leave with a plan, exercises, and a clear sense of what's next.

Registered physiotherapists. Receipts for reimbursement. MVA claims billed directly.

What to expect

Three steps from first visit to back at it.

STEP 01

Comprehensive assessment

A 45–60 minute first visit. We dig into your history, examine the way you move, and map out exactly what we think is going on — in language that makes sense.

STEP 02

Hands-on treatment + a clear plan

Manual therapy, dry needling, taping, and modalities where they help. You leave with a written plan, a target timeline, and the exercises that move the needle.

STEP 03

Progressive rehab to performance

When the pain settles, we don't stop. Our training floor is the bridge from rehab to performance, so you don't end up back here in six months.

Conditions we treat

What physiotherapy can help with.

Some of the most common reasons patients book this service. If your situation isn't listed, give us a call — we likely treat it.

The Omega difference

Clinical care that actually listens.

  • One-on-one care, every single appointment.
  • Direct collaboration with our chiropractors, kinesiologists, and naturopath.
  • Manual therapy + active rehab in the same session.
  • In-clinic gym — your exercises happen in real life, not on a printout.
  • Honest timelines and discharge plans, not endless rebookings.
  • Direct billing for approved MVA claims; detailed receipts for all other plans.

Common questions

About physiotherapy at Omega.

Do I need a doctor's referral for physiotherapy?
No. You can book directly. Some insurers may ask for a referral for reimbursement — check your specific plan.
How long is a physiotherapy appointment?
Initial visits are 45–60 minutes. Follow-ups are typically 30–45 minutes, depending on what your plan needs.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients see meaningful change in 4–6 sessions. Complex or post-surgical cases may need longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline at your first visit.
Do you bill insurance directly?
We don't direct-bill extended-health plans — the one exception is approved MVA claims, which we bill directly. For everything else we provide a detailed receipt to submit to your insurer for reimbursement.
Do you offer dry needling?
Yes. Several of our physiotherapists are certified in dry needling and can incorporate it into your plan when appropriate.
