Overview

Building athletes, not specialists.

Most kids do too much of one sport too soon — and too little movement variety to build a body that can handle it. Our Youth Athletic Development program flips that. We teach foundational movement, build progressive strength and conditioning, and use sport as the test, not the training.

Sessions are run in small groups by kinesiologists and coaches with backgrounds in clinical care and sport. Parents get clear progress reports and home-program guidance.

What you get

What's in the program.

01

LTAD assessment

A movement screen, age- and stage-appropriate testing, and a goal-setting conversation with parent and athlete.

02

Small-group training (1:4 max)

Twice-weekly sessions led by a kinesiologist. Strength, speed, agility, coordination, and play.

03

Quarterly re-test + report

Every 12 weeks we re-test the things that matter and send parents a written progress report. Real data, real progress.

Common questions

About this program.

What ages do you serve?
8 through 17. Programming is age- and stage-appropriate; we use the LTAD framework to scale intensity and load.
What sports do you support?
All of them. Our programming is built around general athletic qualities first, with sport-specific work layered on top. We work with hockey, soccer, basketball, baseball, rugby, swim, track, and dance athletes.
How often will my child train?
Twice per week is the program standard. Athletes already practicing 4+ times per week may need a modified schedule — we'll discuss at assessment.
Is the program covered by insurance?
When delivered by a registered kinesiologist, yes — most extended-health plans cover kinesiology services.
Where do sessions happen?
Variety Village hosts most youth programming because of the indoor track, full weight room, and accessible facility. Some sessions run at the Toronto Beaches in-clinic gym.
